Pitlochry is a desirable tourist destination, attracting visitors from all around the world to our bonnie wee town. We are proud to be part of the "Friendliest Region on Earth" an accolade published by Booking.com from genuine Traveller Reviews for Perthshire, 2024. With a warm welcome waiting for thousands of visitors each season, we plan to setup a small Information Point at Pitlochry Town Hall. A facility the town is missing since VisitScotland's change to a digital-only approach.
We are looking for knowledgeable locals to Volunteer for the Information Point so if you love welcoming visitors from all around the world and enjoy helping out local residents as well we would be delighted to hear from you. We wish to support and promote the many great attractions our area has to offer including walking routes, events, activities, history, dining and other local amenities as well as What's On at the town hall.
To support a new Information Point we are campaigning for donations from local tourism related businesses and visitors. *£125 annually is suggested for local hotels, restaurants, attractions, retailers and such. All donations, no matter how modest, will significantly help the service the Town Hall can provide for our many visitors, including friendly assistance. * Fundraising, payments and donations will be processed and administered by the National Funding Scheme (Charity No: 1149800) operating as DONATE.
