Pitlochry Town Hall are delighted and excited to advise that a new management agreement has been completed and is in effect between Pitlochry Town Hall Charity and Perth and Kinross Council, following a successful negotiation.
A transitional handover period from Live Active/Atholl Leisure Centre, who have managed the facility since 1991, has commenced. This marks a new era for Pitlochry Town Hall, now in its 125th year.
The new arrangement means that the Charity will be running the hall, takings bookings and organising events on behalf of the community, with the support of local volunteers.
Our new website pitlochrytownhall.com has details of how to book the venue and our revised rates, including discounts for Charity Members – it is free to join and open to residents and groups in our Highland Perthshire community. If you missed our recent access-all-areas engagement session, you can now take a virtual tour on our website Gallery page.
This announcement is a major milestone on our journey to purchase the Town Hall on behalf of the community and to gain full ownership. It is your Town Hall - usage and support from the community is essential for a successful transfer of ownership. The Trustees and all the Team look forward to working with the community on this new venture.
